The Sony DSC W120 is very similar in design and features to the DSC W110. The most noticeable difference between these two cameras is that the DSC W110 has image stabilisation.
This camera has 7 megapixels. This is enough for printing most snapshots. It has a 4x optical zoom lens. For composing images and accessing the menu there is a 2.5 inch LCD screen. Sony have also added a viewfinder for anyone who prefers this method of lining up shots.
The camera is quite easy to use and is suitable for anyone who is looking for a no frills, snapshot camera.
Other features include face detection technology and a smile shutter. Face detection is now fairly standard with this type of camera. Smile shutter is not so prevalent. This mode will automatically take a photo if it notices someone is smiling.
