The Sony Cybershot DSC TX55 is possibly the thinnest digital camera you are likely to find. It is 13.2mm wide. Therefore you should have no problem slipping the Cybershot DSC TX55 into just about any pocket. Sony have produced four different coloured versions. These are red, violet, silver and black.
As well as the slim design a big attraction is likely to be the touch control LCD screen. The screen is also larger in size than most LCD screens at 3.3 inches. The extra size can make a big difference to ease of use when it comes to touch control.
More standard features include 16 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom lens. For close up photography there is a macro mode that is capable of focusing from 3cm away from your subject.
Next up is a mode that makes it easy for you to produce panoramic shots. There is also a 3D option for panoramic shots so that you can play back your panoramas on a 3D television. You can also shoot standard still images in 3D format. A feature that does not find its way onto many pocket cameras is the ability to capture fast moving subjects at a rate of 10 frames per second.
The Cybershot DSC TX55 is also able to capture High Definition movies.
