The Sony DSC T500 is capable of producing HD quality movies and stills for playback on an HD television. More standard features include 10 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom lens.

This is another camera in the Sony DSC T range where you select the options you wish to use through a touch controlled LCD screen. The screen is very large at 3.5 inches in size.

Although the DSC T500 is wider than some of the other cameras in this range it is still only 21mm wide and will fit comfortably into more or less any pocket. It is a very sleek and stylish camera and is available in black, silver and red.

There is a mode for creating images that do not need to be cropped for 6 x 4 inch prints and another one for taking photos for display on a widescreen television. Image stabilisation is another useful feature that Sony has built into the DSC T500. As is now almost standard there are face detection options available for taking portrait photographs.
