The Sony Cybershot DSC HX7 has a number of advanced features. A number of these features are not readily available through other brands. This type of camera is often popular with holidaymakers or indeed anyone that is travelling. The main reason for this is that although the camera has a relatively small body size it offers a 10x zoom lens.

With travelling in mind, Sony have added GPS positioning to the Cybershot DSC HX7. This allows you to see exactly where in the world a picture was taken.

There are a number of other advanced features available as well. These include the ability to shoot 3D still photographs and panoramas. To derive the full benefit from these features you need to be able to play back these shots on a 3D television set.

The inclusion of a CMOS sensor gives the Cybershot DSC HX7 high speed capabilities. For example it is able to shoot photos at a top speed of 10 frames per second. You can also produce sweep panoramas.

If you are planning to use the Cybershot DSC HX7 on holiday the high quality High Definition movie mode with a maximum resolution of 1080i means you may be able to leave your camcorder at home too.
