The Sony Cybershot DSC HX10V has a small body size for the features it has. These include 16x zoom, 18 megapixels, Full High Definition Movies and GPS.
The inclusion of the GPS feature alongside the other features shows that Sony are targeting the Cybershot DSC HX10V at people that are planning to take a holiday. The advanced movie features mean that you may be able to pack only this camera instead taking a camcorder as well.
Sony have equipped the camera with Image Stabilisation for both still images and movie clips. This means you should see blur minimised in your photos and your movie clips should take on a smoother look too. You can also take still photos while shooting movies.
Other attractions include a 3D shooting mode, plus a high speed burst mode that can capture action at a rate of 10 frames per second.
This camera is equipped with a G series lens. These normally add a little extra quality to your photos. There is a 3 inch screen for composing photos as well as a macro mode that can focus from 5cm away from your subject.
To help you get to know your camera there is an in camera guide. To help you get started there is an Easy Shooting mode too.
