Sony DSC H50

The Sony DSC H50 is an advanced super zoom digital camera. It has a full set of manual exposure controls as well as manual focusing. The long 15x optical zoom lens is ideal for zooming in on subjects where you are usually unable to get close. For example wildlife and sports photography.

As you would expect for this length of lens the DSC H50 has image stabilisation built in. This comes in useful when the zoom is near or at full extension and the light is low.

For composing photos there is a 3 inch LCD screen. Sony has also added a viewfinder top the camera. If you are interested in macro photography you will be interested to know the DSC H50 can focus from just 1cm away from the subject.

Power is supplied by a lithium ion battery. Sony estimates you should be able to take around 300 shots in between charges. The camera weighs 415g without a battery or memory card.
