The Samsung WB1000 is one of the smallest digital cameras to offer fully manual controls. The camera is only 21mm wide and will slip easily into a pocket. You have access to manual exposure, aperture priority and shutter priority.

Samsung has packed a variety of other useful features into the WB1000. These include a High Definition movie mode and a 24mm, wide angle lens. The lens gives you 5x optical zoom. To help keep your photos sharp Samsung has built in image stabilisation to combat any camera shake.

For close up photos the camera can focus from 5cm away from its subject. For composing photos and accessing the menu system there is a 3 inch LCD screen.

Samsung has built 76mb of storage to get you up and running. This can also act as useful emergency storage if you suddenly find you memory card is full or not working. The WB1000 is compatible with SD and SDHC memory cards.

As with other cameras in this range there is a recycle bin built in. This gives you some protection from accidental deletion of your photos. To help you organise your photos there is a Smart Album feature making it easier to find your photos.
