The Samsung PL200 is small enough to slip into most pockets as it is only 21mm wide. The 7x optical zoom lens provides a fair amount of zoom for such a slimline digital camera. There are plenty of megapixels available too with 14 megapixels packed onto the sensor.
You should find the PL200 easy to use. Although it has some useful features such as image stabilisation it is to all intents and purposes a relatively straightforward point and shoot digital camera. The LCD screen is 3 inches in size. When you want to record short movie clips you have access to a High Definition movie mode.
Compared to a lot of other digital cameras the 90mb of storage Samsung have built into the PL200 is quite generous, but you will need to pick up an SD or SDHC memory card before you can really start to make the most of this camera.
