The Samsung PL10 is part of the Samsung point and shoot range. Therefore you should find the
PL10 straightforward and easy to use. It has 9 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. The camera is available in black as well as a number of more striking colours – pink, purple and red. There is also a swirling, leaf design on the front of the camera.
Like other cameras in this part of the Samsung range the PL10 carries a couple of very useful features that are not widely available elsewhere. To start with no battery charger is required. A cable is supplied to attach the camera directly to a wall socket for charging. You also have the option of charging the camera via a USB port on your computer.
Samsung has guarded against the accidental deletion of photos by including a recycling bin. This works in a similar way to one on a computer, so if you delete a photo accidentally it can be retrieved from the bin, as long as you have not also emptied the bin.
Another feature that may attract buyers is the fact the PL10 has a built in media player. This allows you to use the camera as an MP3 player. As well as listening to music you can also watch video clips that have been stored on a compatible memory card.
