Samsung Digimax NV7

The Samsung NV7 has a longer than standard zoom lens for such a compact digital camera. It has a 7x zoom lens. The camera has image stabilisation built in to try to reduce the affects of any camera shake when the photo is taken.

As with other cameras in this range the flash pops up on the top of the camera. By moving the flash that bit away from the lens it helps to reduce the possible impact of red eye in portrait shots taken when using flash.

Another feature of the NV7 is a different type of menu system when compared to the majority of digital cameras. This type of menu is also available on other cameras in the Samsung NV series. The menu is displayed as a grid on the LCD screen. This can take a little getting used to when you first pick up the NV7, but once you are used to it, it can speed up the process of changing settings.
