Samsung Digimax i8

The Samsung i8 follows on from the previous Samsung i7 and offers a number of different features that are not always associated with a digital camera. To start with the i8 can be used as a Portable Media Player. When you use the Portable Media Player you can playback movies on the LCD screen. The next feature is a MP3 player. The i8 has a built in High Definition, Surround Sound Mode for playing back music files. The text viewer feature lets you read Internet novels and some ebooks. If you are touring, you can access a World Tour Guide. This gives you detailed information on countries you may wish to visit.

In terms of photography features the i8 has 8 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. There is a 2.7 inch LCD screen. For portrait shots face detection is available. You can shoot movies for playback on a widescreen television.
