The Kodak Optio WG-1 is a robust digital camera that is able to cope with extreme conditions. As you will see from the picture the Optio WG-1 looks very different from any other digital cameras outside of this set of Pentax models.
You can use the Optio WG-1 in water to depths of 10m. You will also be able to continue to take pictures in temperatures down to -10 degrees centigrade. Other robust features include being shockproof if you drop the camera from heights of up to 1.5m and crushproof under loads of up to 100kg. As you can see the Optio WG-1 is capable of some pretty rough handling.
Other more standard features include 14 megapixels and a 5x wide angle lens. It has a 2.7 inch LCD screen for composing your photos and accessing the menu system. You also have the option to shoot High Definition movies.
One feature Pentax have included that I have not seen from other brands is special macro lights. As the Optio WG-1 is able to focus from 1cm away from your subject in macro mode there is a danger that light will be blocked out by the body of the camera. To combat this Pentax have added five small lights around the lens to illuminate your subject.
