The Pentax Optio M60 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom lens. Although this is a simple, easy to use camera the Pentax M range is a step up in terms of features from the entry level Pentax E range.

As well as built in face detection processing the M60 also has a feature that automatically helps the camera to identify the type of scene you are shooting. The camera then selects the optimum settings for the photo.
Photos are composed and reviewed through a 2.5 inch LCD screen. There is no viewfinder.

The Optio M60 is available in black, blue and red.

This is a lightweight camera and its size is kept small partly through the use of a lithium ion battery for power rather than large AA batteries.

The Optio M60 is suitable for anyone who is looking for a simple camera with one or two extra features when compared to the most basic digital cameras.
