The Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ7 offers a great degree of flexibility with a lens that is capable of capturing a wide range of photo opportunities from close up shots, to wide scenes to distant subjects. This camera has 14 megapixels and a 10x wide angle lens.
The Lumix DMC SZ7 has a few features that although they can be found on selected digital cameras, they are not widely available elsewhere. These include being able to take photos at a rate of 10 frames per second. There is also a High Dynamic Range setting. This setting boosts the amount of detail you can see in the darkest and lightest areas of photos of high contrast scenes.
Panasonic have equipped the Lumix DMC SZ7 with a 3 inch LCD screen and built in image stabilisation to help minimise any unwanted blur caused by camera shake. It can also record High Definition movies. For close up photography there is a macro mode that can focus from 5cm away from your subject.
