The Panasonic Lumix DMC LZ20 has 16 megapixels and a 21x zoom lens. It offers a relatively inexpensive way to buy a digital camera with a lot of zoom power.
When you look at the Lumix DMC LZ20 you will see the design of the camera is based around a typical Digital SLR. This type of camera is very easy to get a good hold of with plenty of room and a grip area on the front. This helps you to keep the camera still when taking a shot. Ultimately this contributes to producing sharp, blur free shots. Another feature that can help with this is the inclusion of Image Stabilisation.
Additional flexibility is offered through a feature Panasonic call Extra Zoom. With this feature you have the option to increase the amount of zoom available if you reduce the number of megapixels you use when taking a picture. The maximum zoom available is 48.5x when you are shooting at less than 3 megapixels.
For when you would like a little extra control there is a manual exposure mode. This allows you to select the aperture and shutter speed you would like to use for a shot. For composing your photos there is a 3 inch LCD screen. For close up work the macro mode can focus from 2cm away from your subject. The Lumix DMC LZ20 can record High Definition Movies.
Power is supplied by 4 AA batteries.
