The Panasonic Lumix DMC FX80 is a pocket sized digital camera with a touch controlled LCD screen. Other features include 12 megapixels and a 5x zoom lens. As well as the touch screen the Lumix DMC FX80 has one or two features that make it a step up on more basic models.
The screen is 3 inches in size. This is about the standard size for a touch screen camera. The difference between a 2.7 inch screen and a 3 inch screen is more noticeable with a touch screen than with a typical digital camera.
Panasonic have equipped the Lumix DMC FX80 with image stabilisation, the ability to shoot High Definition movies and a macro mode that can focus from 5cm away from your subject for close up work. The camera is capable of taking 3D photos and has a special mode to make it easier to shoot panoramic shots.
The maximum aperture is larger than standard too. This can help when you are taking photos in challenging light.
