The Panasonic Lumix DMC FS62 is a straightforward digital camera. It forms part of the Panasonic easy range. It is also one of the cheaper digital cameras available from Panasonic. The Lumix DMC FS62 has 10 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom lens. As with other cameras in the Panasonic range you have the chance to swap megapixels for extra zoom. So if you cut down the number of megapixels you are shooting at to 3, the amount of zoom available increases to 7.1x. This allows you to get in that bit closer to your subject.

This camera is marketed as a point and shoot camera for anyone who is looking for a digital camera that will make all the key decisions. All you need to do is decide what you would like to photograph. Image stabilisation is built in as standard and there is a 2.5 inch LCD screen for composing your shots. Other features include face detection and a function to automatically reduce or remove red eye in any portrait shots taken using flash.
