Panasonic DMC FS20
The Panasonic DMC FS20 is a 10 megapixel camera with a 4x optical zoom lens. As with the majority of other Panasonic digital cameras it has a useful feature that allows you to progressively increase the amount of zoom available if you are prepared to reduce the amount of megapixels you are shooting at. If you reduce image size all the way down to 2 megapixels the total zoom available is 7.1x. This is a significant increase on the standard amount of zoom the DMC FS20 has.
For composing your photos there is a large LCD screen. It is 3 inches in size and you will find that stepping up from a camera with a 2.5 inch screen to one with a 3 inch screen can make quite a difference.
Power is supplied to the DMC FS20 through a lithium ion battery. Both a battery and charger are supplied with the camera by Panasonic. These small, slim batteries help to keep down the size of the camera.
