The Panasonic Lumix DMC FS10 is a value for money pocket digital camera. Despite being a lower cost model it still has a number of features worth a closer look. It offers 12 megapixels as well as a 5x wide angle zoom lens. Zoom capabilities can be increased to a maximum 9.8x if you opt to shoot at lower resolutions. This is one of the advantages of a digital camera with such a large amount of megapixels as you can still make good sized prints when using half of the full resolution.
The majority of Panasonic digital cameras offer High Definition movies. The Lumix DMC FS10 also has this feature built in. You can shoot movie footage with a maximum resolution of 720p. There are further standard definition movie options available as well.
Further features include image stabilisation to help minimalise any blur caused by hand shake and a 2.7 inch LOCD screen. The LCD screen has a High Angle mode. This means that if you need to hold the Lumix DMC FS10 above eyelevel to take a picture you get a better view of the screen than is usually possible. This helps if you are taking a picture in a crowd.
