The Panasonic Lumix DMC 3D1 produces 3D images through a two lens system. In addition to being able to capture 3D images the Lumix DMC 3D1 is also able to cope with dual shooting of wide angle and zoom standard 2D still images. You can also take still photos while shooting a movie clip.

The Lumix DMC 3D1 is capable of capturing 12 megapixels photos. It has a 4x zoom lens. A useful feature gives you the option of reducing the number of megapixels in return for increasing the amount of zoom available when you are shooting standard 2D still images. The maximum amount of zoom available to you is 7.8x when shooting at 3 megapixels and less.

Another feature you may find attractive is the 3.5 inch LCD screen. All controls are activated through this touch sensitive screen. The extra large screen size can be a big help when you are trying to change settings.

As well as being able to shoot 3D movies you can also opt to standard (2D) Full High Definition movies.

Panasonic have also equipped the Lumix DMC 3D1 with the ability to shoot 2D images at a rate of 8 frames per second. This is likely to come in handy if you are photographing fast moving action.
