The Olympus MJU 9000 is amongst the smallest digital cameras to have a 10x optical zoom lens. Although I would not describe the MJU 9000 as pocket sized it is still surprisingly small and compact to have this length of lens.
As well as the more obvious telephoto qualities that allow you to zoom in on distant subjects it also has wide angle capabilities. This can come in handy if you like to shoot landscapes, groups of people or buildings.
With 12 megapixels you should have no problem making large prints of the photos you take with the MJU 9000. The 2.7 inch LCD screen is fast becoming the standard screen size. The camera also has an intelligent auto mode. This tests for the five most commonly photographed scenes and sets focusing and exposure for you. This can be a big help to anyone who is looking for a fully automated digital camera.
