The Olympus MJU 5010 is part of the Olympus stylish range. At a shade under 20mm wide you should have no problem slipping it into a pocket. Key features include 14 megapixels and a 5x wide angle lens.
The MJU 5010 is equipped with image stabilisation and is also capable of shooting High Definition movies with a 720p resolution. Images are composed using a 2.7 inch LCD screen. For close up work there is a super macro mode that is capable of focusing from 7cm away from the subject.
There are a number of enhancements to the latest batch of Olympus digital cameras when compared with previous models. Enhancements to the MJU 5010 include the ability to charge the camera by attaching it to a computer through a USB port. A further significant change involves how photos and movie clips are stored. To start with there is 1GB of storage built into the camera. In addition the MJU 5010 is compatible with SD and SDHC memory cards rather than the xD format cards previously favoured by Olympus.
The MJU 5010 is available in three colours. These are silver, blue and pink. Help text has been built into the camera. This makes a camera that is already straightforward even easier to use.
