The Olympus FE-5030 is another simple, point and shoot digital camera. It is small enough to fit easily into a pocket. Olympus has given the FE-5030 what it describes as a double layered, crystal shell. This helps to give the camera a pleasing, shiny finish. It also comes in a range of different colours. There is a white model along with brown, aqua and pink versions.
Olympus has placed the emphasis on ease of use instead of packing the FE-5030 with features. As well as helping to make this camera very easy to use it also helps to keep the price down too. In fact it is one of the cheaper pocket models from a recognised brand.
In a break from previous Olympus digital cameras the FE-5030 is compatible with SD cards. These are the easiest and cheapest memory cards to get hold of. A further innovation is the fact the camera can be attached to a computer when the battery needs to charged.
The LCD screen is 2.7 inches in size and the camera also has image stabilisation. If you like the idea of being able to add different effects to your photos such as pinhole, sketch and pop art these are all available with this camera.
