The Olympus FE-26 is the entry level model in the Olympus range. The relatively concise set of features helps to make the FE-26 one of the simplest digital cameras on the market. It weights only 117g without a battery or memory card, making it a lightweight camera. It is available in three colours: pink, blue and black.
Coming in at the cheaper end of the market price wise the FE-26 is likely to appeal to anyone who is looking for a simple point and shoot camera that will not break the bank.
Standard features include 12 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. With 12 megapixels you can produce prints up to poster size. It is worth being aware though that for most print sizes 12 megapixels is overkill and you can save space on your memory card by taking pictures using a lower resolution.
When it comes to memory cards the FE-26 is compatible with both xD picture cards and micro SD cards. Olympus has also built a small amount of memory into the camera to help you get started.
For composing photos there is a 2.7 inch LCD screen. There is also a special YouTube mode to help make uploading videos to the web quick and easy.
