Overview
The Olympus E-620 is a 12 megapixel Digital SLR. It is aimed primarily at the serious hobbyist. Features include a flip out and twist, 2.7 inch LCD screen. Being able to adjust the position of the screen in this way can help with awkward shooting positions. Live view is available through the screen. The screen can be changed to show a choice of aspect ratios to match the shape of the photo you are looking to produce. The different ratios available are: 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and 6:6. Another live view feature is that you can magnify the subject by up to 10 times. This is especially useful for macro photography.
Image stabilisation has been built into the E-620. This means that you do not need to look out for lenses with stabilisation built into them. Olympus has also incorporated the now standard dust cleaning system into the camera.
To add something different to the way your photos look Olympus has equipped the E-620 with a number of art filters. These are Pop Art, Soft Focus, Pale and Light Colour, Light Tone, Grainy Film and Pin Hole.
