The Nikon Coolpix S60 is an ultra compact digital camera. This is a very slim camera with a metal body. The Coolpix S60 has 10 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom lens.
On the back of the camera you will find a large 3.5 inch LCD screen. The screen is touch controlled and all options are selected in this way. The screen has a special scratch resistant coating.
To help you capture the best possible portrait photographs the Coolpix S60 is able to automatically detect both smiles and blinking. You can set the camera to automatically take a picture if it detects someone smiling. If you take a portrait shot and someone is blink you receive a warning.
Another method the Coolpix S60 uses for ensuring you capture the best pictures is a Best Shot Selector mode. Here the camera will take 10 shots, but only retain what it considers to be the best shot in the bunch.
To further enhance portrait shots the camera is capable of scanning a face and automatically attempting to remove any red eye before the photo is stored on a memory card or in internal memory.
Nikon have made the Coolpix S60 available in black and red.
