The Nikon Coolpix S4000 has a touch control LCD screen. The screen is 3 inches in size. Unlike a lot of other touch control digital cameras the Coolpix S4000 allows you to control more or less every action via the screen. You are even able to fire off a photo by tapping the screen instead of pressing the shutter button. Other actions you can take including setting focus and exposure settings.
The range of control you have through touch extends to playback as well. For example if you are reviewing photos you can move through your shots by making a swiping gesture on the screen. You can also carry out retouching functions through the screen.
The screen is made up of 460,000 pixels. This is double the standard resolution and helps to make the screen clearer for viewing.
Aside from the touch control properties the Coolpix S4000 is able to shoot High Definition movies with a maximum resolution of 720p. Standard features include 12 megapixels and a 4x wide angle lens.
There is plenty of choice when it comes to the colour of the Coolpix S4000 that suits you. Options include plum, champagne silver, red, pink and black. You should have no problem fitting this camera into your pocket.
