The Nikon Coolpix S1100pj offers something a little different to other digital cameras. It has a built in projector that allows you to play back your photos on a wall or a screen. You also have the option of connecting the Coolpix S1100pj to a computer. It is then able to project whatever is currently appearing on the computer screen. You can also write or draw on your photos through the LCD screen when they are being projected.
The 3 inch LCD screen allows you to control a number of functions through touch control. This includes being able to take a picture.
Aside from the projector the Coolpix S1100pj has a set of features that are very similar to a standard point and shoot digital camera. These include 14 megapixels and a 5x wide angle lens. Image stabilisation has been built into the camera and you also have the option to shoot High Definition movies.
A stylus touch pen is included for writing on the screen and a remote control is supplied as well. You can adjust the focus of the projector via a dial on the top of the Coolpix S1100pj.
