The Kodak Easyshare Z980 has a 24x optical zoom lens. The lens also has wide angle capabilities. This type of flexibility makes it a true all round camera. It is equally at home shooting wide, landscape scenes or zooming in on hard to reach action such as sports and wildlife. As you would expect for a lens of this length Kodak has built image stabilisation into the Easyshare Z980.

Kodak also supplies a grip that can be attached to the bottom of the camera. This can help you get a strong hold of the Easyshare Z980 when shooting vertically. This is a feature I have never seen before on a compact digital camera.

With a 12 megapixel sensor you have the flexibility for making large prints or cropping photos for a more dramatic effect and still being able to produce a print. Both High Definition still photos and movies can be captured by the camera.

Other advanced features include a hot shoe, manual exposure controls and a RAW mode.
