The Kodak Easyshare Z1285 is a 12 megapixel camera with a 5x optical zoom lens. It fits into the standard camera category. One of the biggest selling points of this camera is the fact it is able to shoot HD quality movies. It can also produce still photos that can be played back on a HD TV too.
If you would like a little extra control over the way your photos look there is a basic manual exposure mode. If you prefer you can use the Easyshare Z1285 as a fully automatic, point and shoot camera.
Kodak has added 64mb of internal memory to the camera. This lets you run a few tests and it can also come in handy if you find your memory card is full or your card develops a fault. No memory card is supplied with the camera, so unless you already have one you will need to pick up an SD or SDHC card before you can fully use the camera.
