The Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS is aimed at the more serious photographer. Its long 15x zoom lens is a big help for zooming in on distant subjects and this type of camera can be used for sports and wildlife photography. The lens also has wide angle capabilities. This means that the lens is flexible enough to also be used for landscapes and other subjects where you would like to squeeze plenty of width into the photo. The lens also has image stabilisation built in. This is especially useful with longer lenses and heavier cameras.

Other key features built into the Easyshare Z1015 IS include a full set of manual exposure controls (Program auto, aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual modes) and the ability to capture HD quality stills and movies. You can also save still images in RAW mode.

The built in flash unit pops up away from the lens, reducing the chance of red eye. In addition to the LCD screen there is also a viewfinder available for composing photographs.
