The Kodak Easyshare M420 is a sleek, pocket digital camera. It measure 21mm wide and will therefore fit into most pockets quite easily. Standard features include 10 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom lens. The lens has a focal length of 28 – 112mm making it a wide angle lens. This can be useful if you enjoy taking photographs of wide scenes such as landscapes and cityscapes.

I like the fact Kodak has included a 3 inch LCD screen with the Easyshare M420. This is a generous size. Other features include image stabilisation to help keep picture blur, caused by hand shake, to a minimum.

To help preserve memories Kodak has added a feature where you are able to add both sound tags and text tags to your photos. The camera can also replay your photos through a slideshow on the LCD screen.

The Easyshare M420 is available in two colours: black and red. Power is supplied by a rechargeable lithium ion battery. Kodak has also built in 64mb of storage. Not only is this enough to test the camera out, but it can also come in handy as a back up if you suddenly find you have run out of space on your memory card.
