The Kodak Easyshare M381 is a straightforward, pocket digital camera. With a 5x zoom lens it gives you some extra zoom power over other entry level, digital cameras. If you compare prices you will find the Easyshare M381 is one of the cheaper pocket cameras. Even so you will find one or two useful features such as a generously sized, 3 inch LCD screen. There is also a feature that lets you add text to your images to help you preserve the memory of where and when you took the photo.
At more or less exactly 20mm wide you should have little problem slipping the Easyshare M381 into almost any pocket. As you would expect from a camera in the price range it is not overflowing with the latest buzz features. It does have a standard definition movie mode. Individual movies can be up to 4GB in size providing there is sufficient power in the battery. There is also a macro mode for close up photography. When you place the Easyshare M381 in this mode it is able to focus from 10cm away from the subject.
