The Kodak Easyshare C182 is a simple, entry level digital camera. You will be hard pressed to find a digital camera that is as easy to use as the Easyshare C182. It is also one of the cheapest cameras you are likely to find from a recognised brand.

The camera body is made out of plastic. Power is supplied by two AA batteries. This gives you the convenience of being able to pick up batteries for the camera more or less anywhere in the word. To keep running costs down it may be wise to invest in a couple of high powered rechargeable batteries.

When it comes to features the Easyshare C182 has 12 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. There is a smart capture mode you can use to help the camera take the best possible photos.

Although the camera has few advanced features you do have access to features such as face detection for sharper portraits with correct exposure and a generous 3 inch LCD screen for composing your photos and accessing the menu system. There is also a standard definition movie mode for shooting the occasional movie clip. For close up shots there is a macro mode that can focus from 10cm away from the subject.
