The Fuji Finepix HS10 is an innovative digital camera with a wide range of novel and exciting features. These include 12 megapixels and a 30x optical zoom lens. Zoom is controlled by twisting the barrel of the lens in a similar way to how you use a standard Digital SLR lens.
For framing your shots you can choose between an electronic viewfinder and a 3 inch LCD screen. The screen can be tilted away from the camera body to help with different shooting angles. As you would expect from such an advanced digital camera you have access to a manual exposure mode as well as to aperture priority and shutter priority.
Among the more original features included by Fuji are zoom bracketing and tracking AF. When you use zoom bracketing the Finepix HS10 will take 3 shots with different amounts of zoom applied. You can then select the shot you like the most. Tracking AF helps you to lock focus onto moving targets.
The CMOS sensor increases flexibility and opens up further options. These include the ability to shoot at high speed. You can capture up to 10 frames per second at full resolution. Sweep panoramas area available too. These allow you to create a panoramic shot simply by pressing down the shutter button and sweeping the Finepix HS10 around in an arc.
Best Frame Capture will fire off 10 shots so that you can select your favourite. Multi Motion will stitch together a set of shots to capture movement. For example it can document individual steps as a child moves through the air on a swing. Motion Remover can remove people who have walked in front of your camera while taking a shot.
In addition the Finepix HS10 has a RAW mode and can also record High Definition movies.
