The Fuji Finepix F70EXR is a pocket sized digital camera offering 10x optical zoom. At the time of its release it is the slimmest digital camera on the market to offer this length of zoom. The lens has a minimum focal length of 27mm making it wide angle. This gives you great flexibility in such a small digital camera as it should be able to cope just as well with sweeping landscapes as it can with more distant subjects. Fuji has built image stabilisation into the lens. It is also an attractive camera and is available in silver and gun metal.
There are two further big attractions to the Finepix F70EXR. Staying with the flexibility theme you can opt to use the full resolution of the sensor (10 megapixels) or reduce the resolution in an attempt to increase the dynamic range of the photo or reduce noise levels. If you opt to increase the dynamic range you should notice an increase in detail levels in lighter and darker areas of a photograph.
The second attraction is the introduction from Fuji of a multi frame mode. This mode increases focusing options and can also be used to combat noise in lowlight situations. Focusing options are enhanced to throw the background out of focus for portrait or close up shots.
