The Fuji Finepix F300EXR offers a number of different features to other digital cameras. Two of these are modes for increasing the dynamic range captured by the camera and decreasing noise levels when shooting in low light conditions. It should be noted that when you access these modes the number of pixels you shoot at are decreased.
The big advantage of increasing the dynamic range is that you are likely to see greater definition in shots where there are high levels of contrast. This can mean that shady areas in your photos are lightened or perhaps more colour in the sky can be captured.
Fuji have included plenty of other, more standard features with the Finepix F300EXR too. These give you access to 12 megapixels, a 15x optical zoom lens, a 3 inch LCD screen, the ability to shoot High Definition movies and a selection of manual exposure controls. For anyone who finds a set of manual controls daunting or would simply prefer to use the camera as a sophisticated point and shoot camera there is a fully automatic mode available.
One further feature worth a mention is one that allows you to create 360 degree shots. All you need to do is place the Finepix F300EXR in the appropriate mode and hold down the shutter button as you turn through a full circle.
