The Fuji Finepix F100fd is a compact digital camera with a few extra features thrown in to take it above the more run of the mill entry level models. With 12 megapixels you should be able to make poster size prints. The 5x optical zoom lens will also get you in that bit closer than the more traditional 3x zoom lenses. The lens is also wide angle, so this can help you when it comes to landscape style shots or any other wide shots such as groups of people and buildings.

On the back of the camera is a 2.7 inch LCD screen. This is one of the larger screens and the increased size can make it that bit easy to line up shots and to read the menu.
