Some of the plus points of the Casio Exilim EX-Z400 include a 28mm wide angle lens, the ability to take high definition movie clips and a large 3 inch LCD screen. This is a 12 megapixel digital camera, available in four colours. These are silver, black, pink and gold. The lens offers 4x magnification.

Another key feature is image stabilisation. This works by the Exilim EX-Z400 moving the CCD sensor to compensate for any tiny movements caused by hand shake. There is also a special setting to make uploading movie footage to YouTube easy. You also have access to a pre record movie mode. This helps to ensure you never miss an important moment as you did not start filming in time. In macro mode the camera is able to focus from 10cm away from the subject.

Aside from these features the Exilim EX-Z400 is a fairly standard point and shoot digital camera. It will fit into a good sized pocket.
