The Casio Exilim EX-Z270 is a 10 megapixel digital camera. It has a 4x zoom lens with wide angle capabilities. Casio has built image stabilisation into the camera to compensate for any hand movement when taking a shot. This can help to produce sharper photos.
Although the Exilim EX-Z270 is not really a replacement for a camcorder it is capable of taking High Definition movie clips. These can be heavy on storage so you can also opt for more conventional movie capture too.
As is now the norm on this type of camera there is no viewfinder for composing photos, but you do have access to a 2.7 inch LCD screen.
In terms of looks there is not a lot to distinguish it from other similar digital cameras. It has that standard rectangular look. It will fit into most pockets as it is only a shade over 20mm wide. It comes in four different colours. These are black, silver, pink and gold.
