The Casio Exilim EX-S12 is one of the thinnest digital cameras you will find on the market. It is only 15mm wide. As you would expect from a camera this small it is also very lightweight. It weighs in at 112g without a battery or memory card.
The Exilim EX-S12 has 12 megapixels. This is plenty for making very large prints or for cropping photos for a more dramatic effect and still being able to make a smaller print. The zoom lens offers 3x magnification.
Apart from its size one of the main attractions of the Exilim EX-S12 is the fact it is capable of shooting high definition movie footage. When you are taking still photos you have a choice of settings allowing you to create photos ideal for 6 x 4 inch prints without cropping or for playback on a widescreen television set.
For composing photos Casio has included a good sized, 2.7 inch LCD screen.
