The Canon Powershot SX120 IS gives you extra zoom power without a larger, bulky body size. As well as the 10x zoom on offer there is also a 10 megapixel sensor. Extra zoom becomes available when shooting at lower resolutions. The Powershot SX120 IS comes in a black finish. Although not exactly pocket sized it is much more compact than larger models offering even more zoom power.
There are a number of advanced features available for the more experienced photographer. These include manual exposure, aperture priority and shutter priority. There is a manual focusing mode as well. For the more casual photographer there are fully automatic and easy modes. Canon has included image stabilisation to help keep any picture blur to a minimum. For composing photos there is a 3 inch LCD screen. There is also a standard definition movie mode. If you are interested in close up photography, the Powershot SX120 IS is able to focus from 1cm away from the subject in macro mode.
