The Canon Powershot E1 is an entry level digital camera. It runs on a couple of AA batteries. It is on the large side for slipping into a pocket at 31mm wide. It weighs in at 160g.
In terms of features this is one of the more basic cameras. Even so it still offers features such as TV quality movies.
The colour of the camera has moved away from more traditional lines and is available in pink, light blue and white.
Despite being an entry level camera the Powershot E1 does have one or two features you would expect to find on more expensive and more advanced models. These are image stabilisation and an optical viewfinder.
The Powershot E1 also has face detection technology and red eye correction. The red eye correction can be set to be applied automatically by the camera or you can opt to clean up manually.
You can shoot TV quality movies with the Powershot E1.
