The Canon IXUS 100 IS is an extra slim, pocket camera. Stand out features include the ability to shoot High Definition movies. Canon has also included a viewfinder as well as a 2.5 inch LCD screen. The camera has a 12 megapixel sensor. The 3x optical zoom lens has image stabilisation built in.
Other key features include a macro mode that lets you focus on a subject 3cm away from the lens. There is a selection of colour settings for when you would like to try a different look for your photo.
The IXUS 100 IS is equipped with a range of settings to help you take better photos. For portraits these include face detection technology and a red eye clean up tool. There are also a number of scene modes that help the camera select the optimum settings for the photo you are about to take.
