Sony DSC W200 Features
The Sony DSC W200 is a 12 megapixel digital camera with a three times optical zoom lens. To boost the capabilities of the zoom lens 6.2x HD smart zoom and 18x standard smart zoom are available. Both types of smart zoom are only available when shooting at lower resolutions. 6x digital zoom is available too.
The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 35 - 105mm in 35mm format. The maximum lens aperture is f2.8 - f5.5.

Focusing
For close up shots the camera can focus from 5cm away from the subject.
LCD
The 2.5" LCD screen is made up of around 115,000 pixels. There is also a small viewfinder you can use to compose images.
Flash
The flash modes are Auto, Forced Flash, Slow Syncro and No Flash. The maximum range of the flash is 3.3m (wide) and 1.8m (tele).
Scene Modes
The preprogrammed scene modes available are Twilight, Twilight portrait, Soft snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, High Sensitivity and Extra High Sensitivity. By selecting a scene mode you tell the camera more about the shot you are about to take and it helps the camera to choose the best settings for the shot.
Movies
Movies can be recorded at resolutions up to 640 x 480 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Sound can be recorded, but zoom can only be applied before shooting starts.
Advanced Features
You can set the shutter speed (30 seconds - 1/1000 seconds) and aperture (f2.8 - f16). Please not aperture priority and shutter priority are not available.
ISO (Auto, 100, 200, 400, 800,1600,3200), White Balance (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Fluorescent1,Fluorescent2,Fluorescent3, Incandescent, Flash), metering (Multi Pattern, Centre weighted, Spot) and Exposure compensation (+/- 2.0EV, 1/ 3 EV step).
A burst mode allows you to fire off roughly shots .
Computer - Printers - Television
All the necessary cables and software are available to connect the DSC W200 to a computer, television set or compatible printer. You can also buy a cable for HD television playback.
