Sony DSC T500 Features
The Sony DSC T500 is a 10 megapixel digital camera it has a 5x optical zoom lens. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 33 - 165mm in 35mm format. Zoom can be increased to a maximum 28x when shooting at lower resolution or 10x if using digital zoom.
Settings are selected via a touch controlled LCD screen.

Red eye reduction can be turned on. The power of the flash can be adjusted.
Scene Modes
There are a number of preset scene modes. These are: Twilight, Twilight portrait, Soft snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, High speed shutter and High Sensitivity.
Movies
You can shoot TV quality movies with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Sound can be recorded and zoom can be applied before shooting.
