Sony DSC T2 Features
The Sony DSC T2 is an 8 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. Zoom options can be increased when shooting with less megapixels. This is through a feature call smart zoom. In all an extra 15x zoom is available through this feature. 6x digital zoom is also available.
The maximum aperture of the lens is f/3.5 - f/4.3. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 38 - 114mm in 35mm format.

Focusing
For close up shots the camera can focus from 8cm away from the subject.
When using auto focus you can select the focusing area from multi point, centre weighted and flexible spot.
A face detection setting is also available for portrait shots.
LCD
The touch controlled LCD screen is 2.7 inches in size. It is made up of around 230,000 pixels.
Flash
The flash modes available are Auto, Forced Flash, Slow Syncro, No Flash. Red eye reduction and auto daylight synchronized flash can be turned on and off. The flash unit will work up to a maximum of 3m (wide angle) / 2.8m (tele).
Scene Modes
The scene modes available are: Twilight, Twilight portrait, Soft snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, High speed shutter, High Sensitivity, Smile shutter.
Retouching Options
As well as the red eye removal feature you can also add blur, surround a photo in monochrome, apply a fisheye effect, add a starburst effect, add radial blur and blur and dim the periphery of a picture.
Movies
You can record movies up to the capacity of the memory card. These have a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a top speed of 30 frames per second. Sound can be recorded and zoom can be applied during shooting.
Advanced Features
Advanced features include exposure compensation (+/- 2.0EV, 1/ 3 EV step), white balance (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Fluorescent1, Fluorescent2, Fluorescent3, Incandescent, Flash), ISO sensitivity (Auto, 80, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200) and a burst mode (100 shots at a top speed of a shot every half a second).
Shutter speeds are set automatically by the camera and work in the range ΒΌ to 1/1000 seconds.
Computer - Printers - Television
All the necessary cables and software are supplied to attach the Sony DSC T2 to a computer, television set and compatible printer.
