Sony DSC S730 Features
The Sony DSC S730 has 7 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. A feature called smart zoom is also available. This increases the zoom available to a maximum of 14x when shooting at low resolutions. 6x digital zoom is also available.
The maximum aperture is f/2.8 - 4.8. The focal length is equivalent to 35 - 105mm. Shutter speeds are set automatically in the range 1/8 - 1/2000 seconds.

The scene modes available are: Twilight, Twilight portrait, Soft snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, High Sensitivity.
Movies
The maximum resolution for a movie is 320 x 240 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Zoom can be applied before recording commences and sound can be captured.
Advanced Features
More advanced controls include exposure compensation (+/- 2.0EV, 1/ 3 EV step), white balance (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Fluorescent1, Incandescent, Flash) and ISO sensitivity (Auto, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1250).
