Sony DSC H55 Features
The Sony Cybershot DSC H55 is a 14 megapixels digital camera with a 10x optical zoom lens. It has a manual exposure setting and can shoot High Definition movies. Other features include a 3 inch LCD screen, image stabilisation and a sweep panorama mode.
The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 25 - 250mm in 35mm format. If the resolution you are shooting at is reduced more zoom becomes available. At the lowest resolution (640 pixels) 67x zoom is available. 2x digital zoom is available too.

LCD

Flash
The flash modes are: auto, on, off and slow sync. Red eye reduction can be turned on and off. The range of the flash unit is 4.1m. This falls to 2.6m when the lens is fully zoomed in.
Scene Modes
There are a number of preset scene modes. These are: Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Twilight using a tripod, Backlight, Backlight Portrait, Landscape, Macro and Portrait.
Movies
You can shoot High Definition quality movies with a resolution of 720p. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Optical zoom can be applied during shooting.
