Sony DSC H10 Features
The Sony DSC H10 is an 8 megapixel digital camera with a 10x optical zoom lens. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 38 - 380mm in 35mm format. If you are shooting at lower resolutions additional zoom becomes available. This can boost the zoom to a maximum 51x. 2x digital zoom is also available.
Conversion lenses are another way to enhance the wide angle and zoom capabilities of the camera. The DSC H10 has a 58mm filter diameter thread.

Focusing
Focusing options include face detection, manual focusing and a macro mode that allows you to focus as close as 2cm from the subject.
LCD
The LCD screen is 3 inches in size. It is made up of around 230,000 dots.
Flash
The flash unit pops up on the top of the camera. This can be useful in helping to control red eye. The flash modes are on, off, automatic and slow sync. Red eye reduction can be turned on and off via the menu. The maximum range of the flash is 5.6m when the zoom is not in use. When the zoom is fully extended this falls to 2.7m. The power of the flash can be adjusted as required.
Scene Modes
The scene modes available are: Twilight, Twilight portrait, Soft snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, High Sensitivity and Advanced Sports shooting
Movies
Movies with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a top speed of 30 frames per second can be recorded. Sound is captured as well and zoom can be applied before the movie is being recorded.
